The Needs for Development of the Hardware and Building Materials Industry in Vietnam

From 2023, the organizer of VIBT, together with the national hardware and building materials import industry association, will hold the "VIBT--Vietnam Intelligent Building Technology" at the same time and in the same hall of Vietnam Expo. Vietnam's construction industry is one of the best-performing industries in the Asia-Pacific region. The Vietnam construction market was worth approximately USD 60 billion in 2021 and the market is expected to grow at more than 8.71% during the forecast period (2022-2027). Revenue in the Hardware & Building Materials segment amounts to US$12.84bn in 2023. The market is expected to grow annually by 2.60% (CAGR 2023-2028).

In 2022, Vietnam had more than 35,500 effective foreign investment projects, with a total investment of more than 430 billion US dollars. The rapid development of investment and economy has expanded the fiery demand of Vietnam's construction and building materials market.
